From today’s issue of Media Bistro’s Revolving Door:
Newsweek loses another big name as Howard Fineman departs for The Huffington Post. He’ll serve as senior politics editor, revamping and reshaping the Washington bureau. Fineman, who joined Newsweek in 1980 and has been its chief political correspondent since 1984, will be one of HuffPo’s oldest staffers at 61 years old, and his appointment serves as an indicator Arianna’s Internet venture continues to grow up. He’ll continue as an analyst on MSNBC but will stop his weekly column on the network’s website.
